Creating A Rain Garden

Courtney Schoen from TAPP (Think About Personal Pollution) will discuss how rain gardens effectively filter and break down various pollutants, enhancing the quality of local lakes, rivers, streams and springs. The City of Tallahassee offers a limited number of $175 grants to city residents who are interested in creating their own rain garden. Courtney will cover the essentials of building a rain garden and provide information about the grant application process.
