Join us at Native Nurseries on Friday, December 5th, from 2–4 PM for a special afternoon with local author, naturalist, and environmental activist Susan Cerulean!

Sue will be signing copies of her newest nature memoir, The Call to a Wilder Wisdom. Come pick up a copy, have it signed, and spend a little time meeting the author.

A longtime nature writer based right here in Tallahassee, Sue’s work explores the relationship between people and North Florida's coastal landscapes. She has written and edited numerous books, drawing inspiration from the natural world and the wild places that shape our sense of belonging.

Her previous works include I Have Been Assigned the Single Bird: A Daughter’s Memoir, Coming to Pass: Florida's Coastal Islands in a Gulf of Change, and Tracking Desire: A Journey After Swallow-Tailed Kites.

We’re delighted to welcome Susan to Native Nurseries and celebrate the stories, landscapes, and wild places that inspire her work.
