Fall Organic Vegetable Gardening

  • Native Nurseries 1661 Centerville Road Tallahassee, FL, 32308 United States (map)

Co-owner Joe Walthall will lead a workshop focused on environmental and organic practices for fall and winter gardening. He will cover essential topics such as soil preparation, watering, fertilization, pest control, and the best plants to choose for this season. The workshop will conclude with a demonstration in our vegetable garden located next to the nursery. Fall is an ideal time to start gardening, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced gardener new to Tallahassee. You’ll find that there are fewer weeds, mosquitoes, and other pests to contend with!
