Food Trucks for Birds is a Florida nonprofit that helps birds along their “migration highway in the sky.” It began as Tricia Keffer’s graduate project on Neotropical bird migration in the Florida Keys. After returning to the northwest Florida Panhandle during the pandemic, she launched a landscape design business and her popular Bird Talk Tours. With her upbeat sense of humor, she shows that saving birds isn’t about having a green thumb—just a little elbow grease.
